I have had a long association with the land, flying and photography. For most of my life I have worked and owned a sheep and cattle property Pooginook Merino stud north of Jerilderie in Southern New South Wales Australia. This has given me a unique respect for nature by running a business and working with in the challenges of changing climatic conditions.
My work has taken me all over Australia. Despite the long distances of flying time I am in constant awe of the terrain beneath and find it totally absorbing. The colors and patterns are breathtaking.
As I have developed an appreciation for indigenous Aboriginal Art I see the same impressions they portray as dots, swirls, patterns, and colors.
From a birds ewe view from 500 to 9000 feet altitude in my Cessna 210 I want to link the wonders of digital technology the patterns of the landscape with my connection to the land.
The camera I currently use is a Cannon 40D and a Cannon 5D.
I hope you enjoy my work and please contact me on:
